The City of Missoula has partnered with T2 Systems to install new parking meters in it's downtown region. It's been nearly a year since the transition, but the investment is already paying off.
The meters do come with a slight fee increase, however, their revenue is on track to double the amount generated in the previous period.
They attribute this increase to some of the key features in the new T2 Digital Luke parking meters, most notably the ability for customers to pay with a credit or debit card. This technology has been around for awhile, but many cities have held off on updating their systems because they weren't certain that business was being lost as a result.
Accepting card purchases is clearly working for Missoula. Which do you prefer; to pay with cards, or cash for your on-street parking?
Partek Solutions offers a wide range of stock and custom printed receipt paper for the Digital Luke equipment. OEM compatibility and lowest price, Guaranteed.
